    Hello,

I have a server that hosts a lot of wordpress websites. Some of them are wordpress 3.1, 3.2 most of them are 3.9 or 4.

I dont handle the websites and i cant force anyone to update.

Although i want to update my php from 5.3 to 5.4 and i would like to know if i will have issues with wordpress 3.1 and 3.2

In fact whats the first wordpress version that is 100% combatible with PHP 5.4?

Its very important for me to have a responsible answer so i can see what i ll do with my server.

Check the readme files in the old releases for PHP requirments. https://www.ads-software.com/download/release-archive/

Well for example i checked the readme on wordpress 3.5

    it says:

    PHP version 5.2.4 or higher.
    MySQL version 5.0 or higher.

This doesnt not verify that PHP 5.4 will work fine

What i mean is wordpress 3.5 was released November 2011 if i am correct
PHP 5.4 was released March 2012. So This means wordpress developer had no idea about the changes on PHP 5.4 right?

My point is: “PHP version 5.2.4 or higher” Means any php that will ever come out?

Best thing to do is use https://github.com/wimg/PHPCompatibility to check WordPress, themes and plugins on all sites.
