I ran the PHP Compatibility plugin with the intent of upgrading to PHP 7.2, and got the following warning:

    —————————————————————————————————————————————-
FOUND 0 ERRORS AND 1 WARNING AFFECTING 1 LINE
    —————————————————————————————————————————————-
167 | WARNING | Function name “__fs” is discouraged; PHP has reserved all method names with a double underscore prefix for future use.
    —————————————————————————————————————————————-

Can you please let me know whether it’s compatible? Thank you!

Thanks a bunch – good to know!

Was this ever resolved? I do not see any updates on this thread.

Yes, I am using it without issue on sites running PHP 7.2

Ah yes, thank you both for the follow-up. The warning message was with our SDK provider Freemius, and they’ve addressed it in their SDK which we updated in our plugin, so it’s all good now, no more PHP 7.x warnings. We use our plugin on sites running PHP v7.1, 7.2, and 7.3.x without issues.

I appreciate you using our plugin!

Side note to @5starplugins @presswizards Thanks for the great support but please lose the signature. That’s prohibited in these forums as it’s been horribly abused in the past by others.

Yes, bad people ruin it for others. No, I’m not kidding. Please refrain from that.

Ah ok @jdembowski no worries, thank you. I wasn’t aware, noted.

Oh, one thing I noticed today, can you look into previous replies gone missing on some of our plugin’s support threads (marked as having only 1 post)? I am sure we replied, but now they are not displayed? Is that something you can fix or let me know about?

A few of the threads mention “thanks for your reply” and I realized the reply is missing.

    Thank you in advance.
