PHP 7 and EWWW Image Optimizer Cloud

    Hi guys,

    I have noticed that the server waiting time extends to 17 seconds when using PHP 7.0.14 along with EWWW Image Optimizer Cloud. It occurs when a user is accessing the front page blog. You may need to optimize the plugin to accommodate for PHP 7.

    I use EWWW IO in production on ewww.io, and on my dev site, both of which use PHP 7, with no problems whatsoever, so I suspect there is something else going on there.

    Just had an email from someone else (yesterday) that was using Events Espresso that caused a similar issue though, but only when EE and EWWW were both active.
    If you’re not using that plugin, then we need to follow standard troubleshooting procedure:
    1. disable all plugins and switch to one of the default twenty-something themes
    2. make sure the problem is gone
    3. enabled your theme, check again
    4. enable EWWW, check again
    5. enable plugins one at a time until you find the conflict
