Working on PHP 7 Compatibility testing for all of the plugins we use. Please let us know when you have an update for this issue.

  • I am having the same issue….

I’m getting the same message when testing against 5.6 — but why is it working at all in 5.x? Maybe this is a false positive?

Can anyone confirm that this plugin is working correctly on PHP 7?

Looking for the same answer. Anyone able to confirm this is working on PHP 5.6 or PHP 7? I need to at least know about PHP 5.6 in the next week.

We have used this in a number of php7 installations without issue but in future versions of php 7.

So is that error a false positive then? Nothing to worry about if going to PHP 5.6 or PHP7?

We believe it is a false positive given that in testing it has worked without issue.

I’m in the process of migrating a site from PHP 5.3 to 5.6, using the MapPress plugin. I copied the site to a test environment on the 5.6 server and didn’t see any issues (other than the maps error due to the difference in the URL), but everything seemed to work ok. Will comment again after doing a review once the migration is complete, but so far so good with at least PHP 5.6!

FYI Everything works flawlessly on PHP 5.6. Don’t plan to be going to PHP7 quite yet with this client, but PHP 5.6 works great!
