PHP 8.0

The plugin should be fully compatible with PHP 8. It also runs fine on this test site, with only Dynamic Widget Content active: https://app.instawp.io/wordpress-auto-login?site=$2y$10$VKETmbDhEHBVz3eXh1cSoeOXHisa1DwIZitnxKp2NkxexOZmzX68y

It could be due to a compatibility problem with another plugin. Does it work if other plugins are deactivated for a second?

Could you test if things work when no other plugins are active and/or using a default theme?

If so, you can enable things one by one again to figure out where the compatibility problem is.

I tried disabling plugins and i found one that may have been causing the error – Pixelgrade Care

I disabled this plugin and was able to update to php8.1

Happy to hear it works then. Not familiar with that plugin. Is it something you need?

Dear all, I have a wedding Website from 2016 that I would like to keep. I used a WP theme called Lovey Dovey. Lovey Dovey Wedding WordPress Theme | Themes Directory (mhthemes.com) Apparently, this one is based on Vafpress (? – I am not an expert). My Web hoster asks me to upgrade to php 8.1. Unfortunately, the theme seems to be incompatible to php 8.x. I can’t login into the WordPress admin interface once I switch to php 8 at the admin page of my Web hoster. The actual Web site isn’t working fully either. I have already disabled all plugins, but this doesn’t seem to work either. Are that any hints you could give me? Thank you very much!

This is the support forum for the Dynamic Widget Content plugin. Your question/issue doesn’t seem to be related to that plugin?
