PHP 8.1 issue with Elementor

  • Good day and Happy New Year!

    We noticed a bug/issue with Elementor frontend display with PHP version 8.1(also happens with 8.0 and the only stable version is 7.4). Even switching themes and deactivating plugins didn’t help. The issue affects Image widget, some Elementor widgets, WP toolbar and Elementor template editing. Here’s a line from the error logs when PHP 8+ is activated:

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string / int in /home/ROOT/public_html/SITEURL/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/libraries/bfi-thumb/bfi-thumb.php:748

    Please let me know if there’s anyone here who also experienced the bug.
