Php 8.2 errors

    Hi

    I’m trying to upgrade my woocommerce site php version from 7.4 to 8.2 from my hosting control dashboard. It checks compatibility of php version with plugin and other files via compatibility checker.

    The compatibility report shows error messages related to woo-payment-gateway:

    /wp-content/plugins/woo-payment-gateway/includes/class-wc-braintree-frontend-scripts.php

    Please check and let me know if I can use php 8.2 with this plugin or not.

    Hi @jerry0000,

    I tried reproducing the error on my test site using PHP 8.2, but everything seems to be running smoothly – no errors in sight! To ensure I didn’t overlook anything, I switched on debug mode. This way, I wouldn’t miss any errors the plugin or server might generate. Still, everything appeared just as it should.

    By the way, the compatibility error message is related to the Payment Plugins Braintree For WooCommerce, not WooPayments. Feel free to use WooPayments with PHP 8.2. Up to now, we haven’t had any reports of compatibility issues.
