PHP 8 compatibility

  • Dear dev team,

    Because PHP 7.4 will be EOL in November this year, most websites will have to be upgrading to PHP 8.0 or 8.1.

    After doing some tests with PHP 8.0 and 8.1 on a staging website for a client, I’ve found at least one deprecation warning (website redacted to ‘example.com’):
    PHP Deprecated: Required parameter $route follows optional parameter $code in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/content/plugins/license-manager-for-woocommerce/includes/abstracts/RestController.php on line 25'

    Could you please indicate when you expect to have the code ready for PHP 8.0?
    And if possible, when for PHP 8.1?

    Hope you are doing good.

    I am sharing this with my technical team, we will test the plugin with PHP 8 and 8.1 and if there will be issues, we will add compatibility of PHP 8 and 8.1 soon.
