PHP allowed memory size of xxxxxx bytes exhausted

You will need to bump the memory of your Docker instance by adjusting the memory in your php.ini (or creating it) as mentioned here.

What caused the need to modify the memory limit? Is there any other way needn’t modify the memory limit?

Because my docker running AWS EC2 and I can’t find php.ini in my project. I think I need login AWS EC2 by Admin role to modify it, This is unsafe.

Whether I can create php.ini in my project? Do you know how can I do it?

Basically, what this error means is that your site requires more memory than the default allocated memory provided by your server. It seems quite common with Docker.

You can create the php.ini (or any name.ini) and follow the steps here: https://www.cloudytuts.com/tutorials/docker/how-to-set-php-options-for-wordpress-in-docker/.
