Have you tried disabling each of your plugins, especially the ones you added recently, to test if that removes the text?

you can try and temporarily switch to the default theme Twenty Seventeen to see if the characters disappear.

then possibly check footer.php of your theme.

Hey Michael,

Changing the theme didn’t help, but looking in the footer.php file did!

It was the commenting out of the WordPress footer that was causing the issue. Since I didn’t want it there anyways I just deleted that line of code.
