I have the latest WP 5.6.2 version and PDB 1.9.6.8 installed. PHP 7.4.14, MySQLi 5.7.33. The WP Site Health app says I have 1 critical issue:
    PHP Default Timezone is Invalid
“PHP default timezone was changed after WordPress loading by a date_default_timezone_set() function call. This interferes with correct calculations of dates and times.”

I determined that the PDB plugin causing the issue. When I disable it and the issue goes away. So, any idea what needs to be done to correct this issue?

    Regards,

Oops. As usual, I found the solution on the XNAU website, but only after I posted this issue, and it wasn’t obvious at first. Under the “Date Shifting and Other Timezone-related Issues” Tips and Tutorial, there is a “Preventing the Plugin Timezone Sync” section. It says the WP Health Check will show a warning if PDB advanced setting- “Sync php Timezone” is checked, although it doesn’t explicitly says the name of the WP error.

If your site is showing this issue, I suggest you go to https://xnau.com/date-shifting-and-other-timezone-related-issues-in-participants-database/ and read the pros and cons of this setting.

    Regards
    M.
