Hey… fresh install and I’m getting this error from the logs:

[24-Dec-2019 00:33:11 UTC] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in /home/294418.cloudwaysapps.com/veqczhzega/public_html/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/vendor/ericmann/wp-session-manager/includes/class-wp-session.php on line 142

When the plugin is disabled and I try to edit or create a new page, this error happens.

Please review and let me know what’s going on. FYI… no pro plugs installed, just the free core.

  • Hi @michamclain ,
you need to apply the patches to the PHP files documented on this page:
    https://support.lewe.com/docs/building-a-free-support-website/plugin-awesome-support/
    Best regards,
    George

    Thanks for the heads up…

Can you release those patched files as a downloadable ZIP somehow instead, for those of us who can’t figure out what to add/remove?

    Thanks!

Yeah… I agree. While I can apply these patches, if you know about the issue, why don’t you just fix it and release a maintenance version? Seems like extra hoops for no reason.

    Thanks,
    Micha

Just to avoid any misunderstandings, I am not affiliated with the plugin or the company providing it. I am just a user too. I noticed these bugs and documented how to fix them.

Remember that this is just a small fix and I can understand that full product releases are not published for each of those. I hope that they come out with the final 6.0.0 soon where this and many other things are fixed or improved.

    George,

lol… yeah, I totally assumed you were part of this team. I’m sorry about that.

Thanks for the patch you gave and hopefully the dev team will jump in get this updated!

    Micha
