PHP Error ā€“ memecached.sock | wp-content/object-cache

    Hello. Iā€™m currently seeing this php error from Query Monitor and code coverage (when logged in):

    Message: stat(): stat failed for /home/.tmp/memcached.sock

    Location: wp-content/object-cache.php:469

    Query Monitor team said this error would be coming from the object cache. I believe I only see this error when logged in. Any suggestions or knowledge to why I am seeing this php error? Thank you.

    Hello @troxnox,

    The error is being silenced and it should not be reported on a default WordPress setup.

    We are preparing the memcached service to use Unix sockets, but they are not yet available.

    Soon, when the memcached unix socket is opened for your account the error will no longer be reported.

    You can safetly disregard the message. Memcached is still working as expected.
