PHP error messages in place of widget

hey please check again, this plugin its work normally again

Last night Instagram updated their website and made some changes to the code we scrape. Those changes broke the widget and I am currently investigating what happened.

The one site I use the widget on is now working again, this may only be temporary and we will have to see.

I do need to introduce some better error handling for when Instagram does this kind of thing and will be doing that today.

Hi folks. 1.5.1 is out. This should fix the issue reported by @xstortionist above.

The plugin now supports the old method and new method of retrieving images. I did this due to the inconsistent reports of the plugin working… and then not working.

The new data embedded on the page by Instagram is quite poor compared to the old data. We no longer have descriptions for images, various image sizes or easy to grab URLs.

The maximum number of images is also reduced to just 12 now due to the format change.

The plugin lives on… for now ??

having an issue on one of my sites. The image url is “https://Array” and not showing the image I’ve updated to latest as well.

Yes, the widget’s sizing is gone.
If you have access to your website’s stylesheet you can add something this:

ul.instagram-pics li img {
			max-width: 150px !important;
			height: auto !important;
		}

Replace 150 with your desired widthin pixels. This works for me.

@greggh3 make sure your site is not cached (clear your browser and site cache) and that you are running 1.5.1. If that fails use this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/ to clear flush all transients.
