• Hello,

    I’m getting this error when I try to use the plugin “RndImgDisplayer”:

    <b>Warning</b>: getimagesize(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in <b>/usr/www/users/tcuzzill/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/rndimgdisplayer/rndimgdisplayer.php</b> on line <b>56</b><br />
    <br />
    <b>Warning</b>: getimagesize(https://www.talkofthepoint.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/rndimgdisplayer/randomimages/Bulbfaces.jpg): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in <b>/usr/www/users/tcuzzill/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/rndimgdisplayer/rndimgdisplayer.php</b> on line <b>56</b><br />

    The plugin (whose producer doesn’t seem to offer any support) displays randomly chosen images. It seems to work–that is, it does what it’s supposed to–but there are also these error messages, which seem to knock the image out of place.

    My URL: https://www.talkofthepoint.com/wordpress/
    Wordpress version: 2.0.4
    Theme: MistyLook 2.0, but the errors also appear with the default theme.
    Plugin: RndImgDisplayer

    I’m new to WordPress (somewhat more familiar with Movable Type), barely familiar with PHP. But for the life of me, I can’t figure this out.

    What could be going on here?

    Thanks
    Ted

  • I suppose you’re working on it.
    I don’t see any errors displayed in IE6 or the latest FF. However, the header looks different in both.

    The error messages show up in white text. Select the white space between the horizontal photo and the blog name and you’ll see them. No, I haven’t done a thing since I posted my question. I’m stumped, not sure what to try next.

    Thanks
