If we try and update the plugin from 7.8, we’re unable to upload images to our Media Library and we get the following error in our WordPress error logs:

“PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() …”

Any help would be much appreciated.

Open any Cerber’s admin page. There will be a warning message.

    Gioni,

Would it be too much to ask for you to reply to this thread with the solution?

Perhaps it wasn’t intentional, but your response seems a little condescending.

We found no warning messages on any of the admin pages. The only message we’ve received, repeating itself over and over again, is the message that an upgrade is available.

Why haven’t you upgraded the plugin? You need to enable a PHP mbstring extension (multibyte string support) in your hosting control panel.

Please forgive, I thought that was clear in the first comment.

Guess we needed to work a little harder for that kind of support.
