• Hi there,

First off let me start by saying great plugin! It’s been great so far!

I am having an issue with the plugin recently: it takes forever to upload a picture onto the media library when trying to create a new post.

I contacted my hosting company and they informed me that there was a fatal error:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 33544 bytes) in *……..* line 745.

Any idea how to correct this issue?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello,

First of all, please tell me one thing: does the problem appear only on uploading a new image? Can you watermark the image after it was uploaded without watermark? Does the bulk action work correctly?

If so, please disable Easy Watermark and try to upload an image. Maybe some other plugin causes the error?

If the image loaded correctly, please now enable Easy Watermark again, and disable all other plugins. Try to upload an image.

Please give me your results of the experiments described above, so I’ll have a better start point to help you.

    Best Regards

After doing some extensive testing, it turns out the issue was another plugin.. My apologies.

I do have another question for you thought: is there a way to have a maximum height and width that the watermark can expand to regardless of the size of the image? More specifically, if an image has a big height, can we prevent the watermark from becoming huge?

    Thanks again for your time!
