    Hi!

When I run your plugin along with “SSH SFTP Updater Support” plugin then frontpage and admin panel is a blank page (server error 500) and in the Apache error.log I get the error message:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function stat() on boolean in /www/docs/wp-content/plugins/ssh-sftp-updater-support/class-wp-filesystem-ssh2.php on line 253

According to the “SSH SFTP Updater Support” author’s replay your plugin “calls the WP_Filesystem API but does not check the result, and does not check whether any credentials are needed, but just carries on.” Can you check it, please?

    Robert

    Hi @elvaron,

Since he says that, it could have added the line of the code where he says it’s happening. Can you ask him that?

Besides whatever we and other plugins do in the WP_filesystem the fatal error is in the other plugin and the error should be managed to avoid crashing the website. And this can only be done inside their plugin code.

@elvaron any update on this error?
