Hello, I repeatedly find this error en my php error log:

[11-Aug-2023 02:34:31 Europe/Belgrade] PHP Warning: require_once(C:\wp\wp-content\plugins\word): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wp\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\waf\bootstrap.php on line 39

    [11-Aug-2023 02:34:31 Europe/Belgrade] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘C:\wp\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\waf/wfWAFIPBlocksController.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php\pear’) in C:\wp\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\waf\bootstrap.php on line 39

Can you help me troubleshoot this?

    Thanks!

    Hi @javiermargencom

That might be due to a failed update of the plugin as a file is missing. We have a guide below:

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

Both bootstrap.php and wfWAFIPBlocksController.php are there.

The only file or folder missing is C:\wp\wp-content\plugins\word, which I don′t know what is it.

The plugin seems to be working fine, though. The only problem are the repeated errors in the php log.

Would you recommend to uninstall and reinstall the plugin again?

    Hi @javiermargencom

    Thank you for the update.

I would like to have a look at your Wordfence diagnostics report. Please go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and javiermargencom as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

Mail sent, thanks. Did you receive it?

    Hi @javiermargencom

Your error log has the absolute file path for WordPress as:

    C:\wp

But the report has the absolute file path for WordPress as:

    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\pressentia_v2

Can you explain the discrepancy please?

Yes, in my first post I edited the log for clarity; the actual path shown in the log is the same as your report.
