PHP fatal error when editing media
-
Dear Dennis,
thank you very much for supporting media uploading to WP comments. I really appreciate the new gallery feature for multiple uploads. Very good!!
However, I encountered a fatal error condition when editing media which has been uploaded to the media library throug DCO coments attachement.
Here is the message:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function exists() on bool in /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/includes/media.php:3295 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/schulblog/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): attachment_submitbox_metadata() #1 /var/www/schulblog/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #2 /var/www/schulblog/wp-includes/plugin.php(484): WP_Hook->do_action() #3 /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/includes/meta-boxes.php(430): do_action() #4 /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/includes/template.php(1389): attachment_submit_meta_box() #5 /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/edit-form-advanced.php(681): do_meta_boxes() #6 /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/post.php(206): require(‘/var/www/schulb…’) #7 {main} thrown in /var/www/schulblog/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line 3295
THe error pops up only in the list view in the media library when hitting the EDIT button and only in case of media files being uploaded throug DCO.
The error won’t show up neither in grid view nor with media directly uploaded to the library.
Any idea about the root cause?
Thank you!!
Juergen
