    Hi,

    I was reading this post because I’ve had the same problem, and Esmi said to try editing your theme’s header.php file with the code she placed there. I understood that part, and I even found the source code, and my theme’s folder she mentioned. However, I cannot open the php file, and was wondering if there was a free download that you could refer me to, as I am unable to open it. Thanks.

    I don’t even know what to try to open it with. I went to my cp panel in my host, but after clicking several links there, I had no idea. I don’t have any kind of program to my knowledge to open a file of this type. I could see in the code source for my page, the exact area you mentioned to copy that code to, but I cannot figure out how to edit it. I’m not very familiar with this wordpress program.

    Within the WordPress Admin area, try navigating to Appearance/Editor and selecting your theme’s header.php file.

    I did that, and I found the area to place the text per the instructions on the original link above. However, no icon or symbol for an RSS feed for people to click to receive the feed. I could read it on google reader, but is there no way to post an RSS feed button for people who want to subscribe to me?

    It may be already in your site’s header file.
