PHP getimagesize Errors

I keep seeing the following errors on the apache error log and was wondering what may cause it?
HP Warning: getimagesize(https://abcnewsradioonline.com/storage/sports-news-images/Getty_S_4912_MLB%20Baseball%203.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1426514257154) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden\r\n in /nas/wp/www/cluster-10903/alphamedia/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/excerpt_functions.php on line 742
The url’s are correct to the image so I don’t know what could be causing the HTTP request to fail. The feed is valid as well. Could someone help me look into this issue?
