PHP is 7.4 is not active on wordpress

  • Hello, I installed wordpress manually and I was able to create a website called https://creativegenebook.com.
    My problem is that my wordpress is in PHP 5.6.40 and yet I already made the update in PHP is 7.4 to my OVH host, it is active.
    Is it normal that the website is slow on PC and on Mac twice as slow?
    Could you help me understand the problem and solve it?
