    Hi

Whilst installing an update to WP (5.1.1) it told me I should consider an update to a newer version of PHP.
My host did this for me and phpinfo.php tells me I now have 7.0.33
I installed your plugin and in the “At a Glance” it stated PHP in 5.4.45

Perhaps it’s an incompatibility with the app and 5.1.1 of WP?
If not, why would I get a mismatch? The Dashboard is still telling me to consider the PHP update so I suspect the app is correct?
    Any pointers welcomed.

I just tested locally and the correct reported version of PHP was displayed.

Not sure why you’re seeing an incorrect value. I’ve not had any other reports of this occurring so maybe something with your system. Can you disable other plugins and perhaps revert to a default theme to rule out any incompatibility issues?

Other than that I can’t think why this is happening.

Internally the plugin uses phpversion() to get the PHP version that is displayed in the dashboard. So if that’s not working then perhaps this needs further testing on your server.
