    Hi
I updated to WP 5.1.1 for our website, and it suggests in the Dashboard to consider a more secure version of PHP.
My host updated this to 7.0.33 and phpinfo.php reflects this.
However the Dashboard in WP still suggests the update and the PHP info plugin states PHP is 5.4.45
So what might be going on? How might I make WP use the updated PHP?
    Host is justhost.com

    Thanks for any advice

Some web hosts specify which version to use at a per-site basis. Do you have anything relating to PHP version in your .htaccess file or your control panel settings? Please double check with your host.

Thanks, finally resolved this by adding to the .htaccess file in the WP root
