"PHP not running or switched off" ??

  • Hey.

    When opening the wp.install.php file, this appears.

    “Error: PHP is not running
    WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.”

    Have checked with the host, and their PHP version is above the requirements of the latest WordPress, and is running on all of their servers.

    Any ideas ??

    Ask them then why are you getting this error message?

    This error message means that your hosting package does not have PHP enabled on it. You need to contact your hosting company and get moved to a plan that includes PHP.
