I have activated WP error logs and I seem to get a large number of PHP Notices:

PHP Notice: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /SITEDIR/wp-content/mu-plugins/plf-filter.php on line 806

    Why is that happening?

Are you using the latest version 4.0.6?

There is no code corresponding to the error on line 406. Please tell me a little more detailed situation.

Yes, I am using the latest 4.0.6 version.

The line for the particular warning keeps changing. Now, I see the same warning for lines, 806, 886, 973 but mainly for 806. I have also started getting the following notice:

Undefined index: path in /SITEDIR/wp-content/mu-plugins/plf-filter.php on line 886 but I also get a few for line 806.

It doesn’t reproduce in my environment, but it seems to be accessing undefined variables in PHP, so I created a test version 4.0.7.

Download the test version from this page (https://celtislab.net/en/wp-plugin-load-filter/#toc_h33) and see if the problem goes away
If it goes away, I will publish this version
