PHP Notice: Deprecated constructor in Widget Class

  • Getting the following on activating: Text Link Ads Advertiser Plugin

    Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget in textlinkads_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use __construct() instead. in ../wp-includes/functions.php on line 3894

  • I can see someone posted this error 3 months ago but no one gives reply….

    I am also getting this error . So I have to stop using this plugin till it get fixed.

    It’s not best practice since it would override on update but since it’s not a fatal error and if you really need the plugin you could make the fix yourself if you are dev temporarily. That’s what I did. However, if you have an alternative plugin do you mind sharing?
