PHP Notice – Undefined variable: mail_success

  • Hi

    I’m getting the below PHP notice in my error_log file:

    [09-Mar-2018 13:35:38 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: mail_success in /home/~user~/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/backup/class-itsec-backup.php on line 252

    Any clues?

    WP: 4.9.4
    iThemes Security: 6.9.2

    All plugins and WP uptodate.

    It seems @gerroald forgot to mention that as a temporary workaround you can change the value set for the Backup Method setting in the Database Backups module.

    Since the issue will only occur when the value set for the Backup Method setting is ‘Save Locally Only’, changing it to ‘Save Locally and Email’ (or ‘Email Only’) will prevent it from happening…
