    Hey there,
This seems to be just what I needed, but I’m getting a lot of PHP Notices with debug on.

Fresh install of WordPress -> 4.9.5
Fresh Install of Plugin -> 1.9.5

Installed wordpress -> Configured the basics -> Installed the plugin.

    Options landing page shows:
Notice: Undefined index: sub in /wp-content/plugins/name-directory/admin.php on line 30
Notice: Undefined index: mode in /wp-content/plugins/name-directory/admin.php on line 118

With default content go -> Manage names -> Encountered:
Notice: Undefined index: status in /wp-content/plugins/name-directory/admin.php on line 519
Notice: Undefined index: status in /wp-content/plugins/name-directory/admin.php on line 524

    In addition:
All fields showing Notice messages as well.

Would be great if you could fix all the notices.

    Thanks.

    *Off Topic:

Would also be great if this plugin didn’t get buried in the settings menu.
Possibly have the “settings” in the settings menu, but this plugin could use a Main Menu spot.
Adding and/or creating content could benefit from a top level menu item, instead of getting buried.
User interface / user experience would be greatly improved.

Thinking about modifying the plugin at add this in.
As well as the ability to deregister your css so I am able to keep my theme clean and design organized.

I probably should have added feature requests for the other 2 items, which I could still do.

    Cheers.
    Thanks.

    Hi @rorytatem,

thanks for getting in touch and share your findings and ideas!

I will check and fix the PHP notices, I think that should be fairly easy to fix.

    About the other requests:

    * Own Menu Item: I think it’s pretty ok. I myself get annoyed if small plugins (which I think mine is), think they deserve a main menu spot. I only have one mainscreen, so personally I don’t see why it deserves a Main Menu spot. The only two actions would be ‘overview’ and possible ‘add new directory’.

    * CSS: What do you mean exactly? That there is an option that I do not include the Plugin’s CSS? The CSS is designed to be innocent to other styled elements.

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen Peters

Thank you for the quick response!

I also notice there are many notice warnings on shortcode.php displayed on the front end, I hope you can fix those as well.

Sorry for the css, I was thinking about a different plugin! Too many plugins add in too much css, yours is good!

    For the main menu item:
It is ok for developers to leave it like it is, but I am building a site for Content people. As it is, it is confusing for them to have to go into settings to add another entry, or add directory. User experience for them is not too good, they are not very technical.

    Thanks again!

    hey @rorytatem,

thanks again for bringing the errors/notices to my attention. I just released version 1.9.6 in which it is all fixed. If you find anything, please let me know!

Also, after giving it a lot of thought, it has it’s own menu item as of this release.

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen Peters

P.S.: If you like the plug-in, would you consider writing a review/rate it?
