    Hello @jsmoriss and @jess888

This error typically happens when you use an older version of PHP than the one required. At the moment the plugin requires you to have at least PHP 7.2.

Can you please advise what version of PHP are you running?

    Hey all,

    We have the advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha plugin
“updated to newest version from wordpress plugin store”

    we have PHP above required:
    php -v
    PHP 7.4.28 (cli) (built: Feb 17 2022 16:06:19) ( NTS )

    and seeing the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in?/……./wp-content/plugins/advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha/admin/settings.php?on line?86

If I delete the directory our site resumes operation

Where should I be looking for this error?
