• I sent you a few support tickets in the last 2.5 weeks and never heard back from you. I am more than fine paying for additional support if you can help me solve the following problem.

I publish articles to my wordpress site using php and rarely ever do a manual post. I have not been able to figure out a way to get your plugin to post those articles to Facebook or Twitter. Is there some type of setting that I am supposed to use to accomplish this task?

I have about 750+ articles being published a day and none of them are posting to the social media sites. I suspect it’s because they are not manually published one by one.

I have all the required information filled in fine for Facebook and Twitter. I manually tested the plugin and it works great when I use the wordpress “publish” button, but posting via php has presented a problem. Might be an RSS feed issue. Do you have any suggestions or comments. I appreciate your time.

Please feel free to PM if needed. I am more than happy to pay for a custom solution if needed.

    Thanks.

Are you getting any errors? Please check your Log/History tab and let me know what do you have there.

BTW, Facebook will suspend your account for 750+ posts per day.

The posts are across multiple domains, but I do agree with you. I’m not 100% sure to be honest how many posts I can send per day to FB.

The main issue is that none of the posts on the domain are being posted to FB or Twitter. It works perfectly when I manually post an article, but for some reason the plugin doesn’t seem to recognize new content being published using my script. RSS feed updates fine.

I’m under the assumption the plugin only recognizes new content after the publish button is used, but I could be wrong.

Is there some setting I missed to get the plugin to recognize the new content and post it accordingly?

    Thanks

No errors are listed in the log/history tab.

What exactly do you have in the log tight after the import?

Our plugin posts to all configured social networks at the time post goes live. Technically speaking our plugin is hooked to the event of changing post status from whatever to “Published”. This event is triggered when you hit “Publish” button, when you post on your site from email, when you publish post from your iOS/Android Device, when some import plugin correctly published new post, and when scheduled post becomes live.

I’m having my programmer get back to me about exactly how the script works. I’m fairly certain it uses xml-rpc protocol, but I could be wrong.

In the meantime, I ran a test and scheduled two posts to be published within about 5-10 minutes. They both published fine and were posted to FB and Twitter correctly.

I will let you know what I find out. Thanks.
