• Hello,
When I am trying to modify a PHP file of my child theme, I get a PHP error syntax. To find a possible origin of me problem, I’ve tried the following things:
Checking PHP Syntax Check on style.css : OK
Checking PHP Syntax Check on footer.php (original file) : “Syntax check failed. Error:”
It is not true because it is the original file with no error
Checking with Twenty Seventeen Native theme : Same thing
So, for me, this plugin is not functional.
    (for information PHP Version 7.2.2)
    Best Regards
    AR

    Hi,
Here are additionnal elements to help :
    1) I am using XAMPP, so a local site on a PC with Windows.
    2) On a MAC with OSX there is no problem, testing PHP is OK
So, it seems that (may be) the problem is with the CharSet (or something close).
Perhaps the problem is not present with a Linux Server bus I don’t want to take risks with an online website.
    Best Regards,
    AR
