php to add post images to archive page

  • i don’t really know php, and have tried a couple plugins, but still need to figure out how to have my image, or better yet a thumbnail to show on my archive pages above the posts… thanks in advance if you can help.

    The archive page? I guess we need to know what theme you are using. Oh, and do you have a link to your blog?

    Thanks roadie for writing. My blog is https://theclumsymonkey.com, and I use the Twenty Ten theme. I basically want it so that when you click on a tag from the tag cloud, it takes you to a page that reflects all posts that have the same tag. I would like for the images from the posts or a thumbnail to show up along with the post.

    I’m slightly confused because when you click on a tag, you only get one post displayed.

    I’m not sufficiently familiar with Twenty Ten to know if there is an option for what you want, but I have done something slightly similar with the Neo-Sapien theme. See News: Amended Theme: Neo-Sapien with Monotone.

    Or you could try the duotone theme.
