• My dashboard shows that I should update my PHP version but it’s running PHP 7.4. Not 7.0 like it says.

    Where does WP get this info from?

    WP is seeing what your hosting config is giving it, 7.0. Please contact your host to ask why 7.4 is not active.

    Hi Steve,

    I’m the host (i’m a reseller with over 200 sites) and I’ve contacted my support team who also confirmed I am running PHP7.4 on the site.

    The hosting dashboard shows 7.4 and I’ve checked the htaccess files that also show 7.4.

    When I look at the response headers from a visit to your site, I see 7.0. You have a system configuration problem, not a WP problem:
