Sinatra requires at least PHP version 5. That’s the minimum required PHP version.

The theme works fine with PHP 7.4, in fact we are running our demo site on PHP 7.4.2.

I believe your issue is not theme related so you may want to check your plugins or your PHP modules or Apache configuration.

Resolving this issue.

Sorry – I sent an email in response, but I guess that does not work on this forum.

We would like to get PHP v.7.4 active on our site. Is there anything more specific about Sinatra theme requirements that I can pass along to our hosting team regarding PHP modules or Apache configuration?

@2020historytrust, the default extensions are supposed to be enough for running WordPress. Please see this reply.
