    Hello,

my wordpress is running on php 7.3.3. The last plugin-Update 2.9.9 is not installable because of the php-version. But there is mentioned, php 7.2 is high enough? Is there a problem in detecting the php-version?

    Thanks for a small answer,
    best regards

No, PHP 7.3 should also work, running it myself. The check is done by WP. I have not added an additional code for that. Only what is in the Plugin Header in the main file.

    Hi Patrick,

thanks for the superspeed-answer. I checked again: I am sorry, my fault. It is PHP 7.1.33 on this host. I have to call the hoster… ??

    Best regards

Yeah, php 7.1 has not been supported since a year, so it’s always best to keep it up to date ??

Glad it’s not something major ??
