• I was hoping to update my PHP version to improve my site performance, but in checking plugin compatibilities I was given this error for Sermon Manager (below). Can you tell me if this aspect of Sermon Manager will be updated soon to make it compatible? I don’t like running my site on such an old PHP version (5.4). Thanks.

  • Hi!

Are you using latest Sermon Manager, 2.15.6?

Because I have took a look at the code, and we are not using that functionality anywhere in that file (or rest of the code).

Also, I can personally confirm that Sermon Manager will work on latest PHP 7.2, since that is the main version we use for development.

I am indeed using Sermon Manager 2.15.6 already. Unfortunately, SiteGround hosting does not let me upgrade the PHP from within WordPress so long as it finds an incompatibility.
