Hi, I really like the look of your plugin. It does everything I need in terms of supporting custom taxonomies and post-types – better than any other map plugins I have looked at.

Unfortunately I am having an issue with the map preview not appearing in the backend. Looking via console I found there is a 500 type error being caused by the locate-anything-preview.php file. As a test I installed it on another WordPress site and found it worked fine there. So I went through the drill of disabling other plugins and swapping templates but this didn’t sort the issue. I got in touch with my hosting provider and they said it looked like a PHP compatibility issue. Having checked the PHP versions the two sites are running different versions: 7.0.21 on the site with the issue (5.6.31 where it is fine).

Is there any know compatibility issue that might explain the problem?

I think the PHP version suggestion was probably not correct. I simplified the site structure, from having had all other WordPress files except initial index.php in a sub directory to having all together, and resolved that 500 error. But there is still an issue with the map preview unfortunately. I will mark this thread as resolved and post another thread with the new details.
