PHP Version Issue? Fatal error on line 258

    Hi,

    First of all. Thanks for this plugin. It’s really filling a gap and helping me learn a bit about JSON while not being incredibly geeky!

    I have an issue that I’ve just come across. I moved a site from 1 host to another and I am now getting the following error: –

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_check_encoding() in /home/brenclos/public_html/wp-content/plugins/json-content-importer/class-json-parser.php on line 258

    There’s a chance I changed something on the original site after I took the copy, but I can’t remember it. The line in question is to do with text encoding.

    Is there anything you can think of that I have missed?

    The other thing I should note is one host is on PHP 5.3.29. That one works. The new site is on 5.4 if that makes any difference.

    Any ideas would be appreciated as I’m baffled at the moment! My only hope is I haven’t missed a step as some of this was set up after I started moving the site over.
