Hi. We tried this on PHP 8.2, and it failed to load the whole backend of our website. We are told it is down to this plugin.

Blog2Social does not seem to have permission to write in your WordPress database. Please assign Blog2Social the permission to write in the WordPress database. Please also make sure that your MySQL server runs on v5.5.3 or higher, or ask your server administrator to do it for you.

Please find more Information and help in our FAQ or back to install plugins

    Thanks.

Hi, did you tried PHP Verison 8.1?

We were upgrading from 8.1 to 8.2. 8.2 is where your plugin caused the site to break.

Did you changed the database version?

I actually would never have any need to do that.

Which Version of Blog2Social do you use? Which Version of MySQl do you use? We tested it with the last version of Blog2Social and it works. You could try to deinstall Blog2Social and install it again. It seems there is a problem with the database access.

Everything is the latest version, as we keep things up to date.

Can you confirm either way, that it does work on PHP 8.2, and perhaps suggest the extension sin PHP we need to ensure we are running?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

Currently, Blog2Social is working properly with PHP 8.1 but rest assured, we’re further investigating this and will provide a fix within the next Blog2Social updates so it’s working correctly with PHP 8.2 as well.

Please let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
