PHP Version Update

    Hi Guys!

    So I encountered a problem where your plugin gave me the following error:
    Fatal error: Class ‘WPUpdatePhp’ not found in /usr/www/users/autopsdhtx/wp-content/plugins/wp-car-manager/wp-car-manager.php on line 58

    I checked that line and I saw that it still uses PHP Version 5.3.0

    I went into our hosting backend and saw that version 5.3.0 was no longer supported due to it having some major security issues.

    As I don’t have much experience with PHP coding I have no idea on how to make the plugin compatible to PHP version 7 and up as version 5.6 is also at the end of its life.

    I really like your plugin and our client finds it very easy to use. However, as it stands now your plugin is unusable in this specific situation and might cause more problems for people in the future as more hosting companies phase out older PHP versions.

    Our plugin has been tested up to version 7.2 which we use for development. Can you please let us know which version of our plugin you are using?

    I had a look and this error is showing on version 1.4.1

    I’m having the same problem with my website https://www.imotoonline.co.za/imoto-deals/used-cars/

    I had to deactivate the plugin so that my website would load properly, otherwise I would just get:

    “Fatal error: Class ‘WPUpdatePhp’ not found in /usr/www/users/madrewwxyk/wp-content/plugins/wp-car-manager/wp-car-manager.php on line 58”

    I’m using:
    – WordPress 5.1 (Updated to try to remedy the problem with no luck)
    – The Plugin Version is 1.4.1
    – PHP 5.6 is currently running on my web server

    Everything was fine on Monday (4 March 2019) so I’m absolutely lost on what might have gone wrong between now and then.

    Would it be possible to get a link to the previous version of WP Car Manager?

    Using latest version of WP and plugin version 1.4.1 and seem to also be having PHP issue:

    I am getting the same issue. Running WP 5.1, PHP 7.2, and version 1.4.1 of your plugin. When trying to activate the plugin, get the following error:

    FYI – I have tried with PHP 7.2, 7.1, 7.0 – all give the same error.

    FYI – I tried downloading and installing v1.4.0 from the WordPress SVN – unfortunately same issue as above.

    Please can the author reply… this has been dragging on now, and a solution is required.

    In defence of the issues you are having I am running the plugin with the following versions
    Wordpress 5.1
    PHP Version 7.2
    WP Car Manager 1.41

    Are you sure you are not having theme problems, this site is working with Themify Ultra theme and have also tested it on the wordpress theme 2017.

    @taffy1947 – I am using a purchased theme which has this plugin that comes with it… their demo works 100%.

    I have tried using Twenty Sixteen, still get the same error
