We are sorry to hear that you are seeing errors from the Yoast SEO plugin, and we’d be more than happy to investigate the matter further for you.

We expect few more information about your setup. This might help us replicate the issue on our end:

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO 17.8? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.8.3? Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more:?https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    4. Does your server meet the PHP requirements?

We look forward to hearing from you.

    1) Yes, I’m using the most recent version: 17.8
    2) All other plugins are updated
    3) I am using the most recent version of WordPress: 5.8.3
    4) Yes, my server meets the PHP requirements and has been hosting dozens of WordPress sites for years without issue. I am simply reporting PHP warnings as found in the current version that I’ve not seen before until recently.

Thanks for the additional info. We are unable to reproduce those errors in the same configuration in our local setup.

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
