PHP warning preg_match()

    I have been getting the following warning:

    PHP Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: quantifier does not follow a repeatable item at offset 0 in /home/thequint/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/PgCache_ContentGrabber.php on line 952

    I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
    This means that you have invalid regexp when excluding a page from being cached in Peformance>Page Cache>”Never cache the following pages”

    Hi,

    One of my developers probably added these 3 lines:

    *?tve=true
    *?cpo_options=1
    *?et_fb=1

    Do you have any idea what they refer to?

    Those should be query strings from certain pages.
    you will have to check with your developers about this.
