After auto-updating to latest version of Blocksy companion (as of this date) we are seeing PHP warning in the error log… We are using all updated versions of WordPress core and Blocksy theme.

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in ../wp-content/plugins/blocksy-companion/framework/features/blocks/tax-query/block.php on line 139

thanks for a great theme ??

    Hello @wordmax

I have verified the theme files and I can say for sure there’s no error at that spot. The code is correctly written.

Perhaps you could provide more context to this error message? Such as the server setup and so on? ??

    Thanks.

    Hello @wordmax

I have just gotten word from the developers. They’ll rework the function to not cause the warning on some PHP versions anymore. ??

2.0.56 will include this fix, which will be released later tonight.

    Thanks!

Great, thanks. By the way the PHP version cPanel I am using when seeing this warning is 8.2 – can send screenshots of cPanel extensions enabled or options config if needed via private message.

The update has been released last night. Have you given it a try?

    Thanks.

I cleared the error log before the update and have not seen any new related PHP warnings since. I will keep you posted if I see any PHP warnings in future. Thank you as always for fast friendly support.
