After updating to 2.7.8, I was getting 3 PHP Warnings when using the login page. The three errors are:

Warning: Illegal string offset 'recaptcha-type' in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/profile-builder/front-end/default-fields/recaptcha/recaptcha.php on line 86

Warning: Illegal string offset 'recaptcha-type' in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/profile-builder/front-end/default-fields/recaptcha/recaptcha.php on line 90

Warning: Illegal string offset 'recaptcha-type' in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/profile-builder/front-end/default-fields/recaptcha/recaptcha.php on line 125

I went into the profile builder “manage fields” and added a reCAPTCHA field which fixed the error. I don’t really want to be forced to use reCAPTCHA just to workaround these error messages.

    Thanks.

    Hello @bmdumr02,

Really sorry about these issues. We will most likely release another update on Monday to fix them.

    Regards.

I have the same issue since yesterday, after i upgraded from PHP 7.0 to 7.1. It generated so many warnings that it actually exploded my monthly quotas on Sentry ahah ^^’

Good someone found a workaround. Great if it can be fixed soon ??

@raster02, when can we expect the fix for this issue? The error logs are huge!
If the official update is not ready yet, maybe you can tell which file needs to be changed, so I can fix it manually?

Should be out in a few minutes.

    Regards.

    hello,
great this is fixed. I removed the “reCAPTCHA field” workaround and now it works fine.
    Many thanks!
