    Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us and hope you are doing well and having a great day.

To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor and Elementor Pro). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.

Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features

Performance features currently in the experimental stage are:

    • Improved CSS Loading?– An experiment that only loads the CSS of widgets on a page once, in order to prevent multiple requests to the server. With this experiment, CSS files are loaded as inline style tags.
    • Inline Font Icons?– This experiment renders icons as SVGs without loading the Font-Awesome and eicons libraries. Since SVGs are vector-based images which are rendered using the browser’s engine, they do not increase server requests which improves performance

I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

    Kind regards,

it happens if only elementor plugin is active and is not related to the settings mentioned. As said before the 404 page is not using anything elementor related. Its a none elementor page. It does not use elementor to show the 404 page and its content.

    Hi @neo2k23,

Could you please provide more details about the issue by sharing a screen recording? This will help us understand the problem better. You can use a tool like Loom to record your screen.

I also recommend trying Safe Mode. To enable Safe Mode, go to Elementor > Tools, choose “Enable” under the Safe Mode setting, and click Save Changes.

Safe Mode creates a secure environment that isolates Elementor and WordPress from all themes and plugins. This feature can help identify and solve various issues. You can read more about it here.

If Safe Mode resolves the issue, it indicates a conflict with a plugin or theme. To identify the culprit, try deactivating all plugins and reactivating them one by one.

Based on my experience, this type of issue is usually caused by a conflict between the active theme settings with the 404 page, or another editor plugin on the website.

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,

it even happens in nthe default 20/24 theme calling a page that does not exist so you get the 404 page.

Only plugin active is elementor free!

So this is theme related? No way!
