• hi,

    I am running 3.5.1 RT-17 wordpress theme.

    This theme uses template builder, menu builder and a sidebar creator, so can create a lot of “stuff” – I don’t know the correct terminology.

    I do have a lot of menu’s, templates, and sidebars.

    Anyway, it is like it reached full, and won’t save anymore. New templates I was creating vanished, now I cant update any template. And then lastly, when I went into the main menu to adjust a link, half of it vanished, and now I am left without menu items for my products.

    The website is a sitting duck.

    I have asked my host to increase my post max size.

    I was having the same problem on my wamp site (same site) so I tried changing the following to:

    post_max_size = 750M
    upload_max_filesize = 750M
    max_execution_time = 5000
    max_input_time = 5000
    memory_limit = 1000M

    Nothing has helped…

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercially supported theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.ads-software.com here.

    I have searched online and this problem occurs with many different themes.

    And now that I see wordpress has included the menu creator without that being a theme exra.

    There seems to be something with php memory and timeout limits, that create problems with larger wordpress sites. This is why I came here.

    Can you replicate the problem using the default 2012 theme with all plugins deactivated?
