    Hello to all,

    Today i’ve investigated the updraftplus tool at my php-compatibility-checker and have some surprising results about this program. There are some issues to resolve.

    Hi,

    Your automated tool is only telling you that that code exists somewhere in the code base. It’s not telling you which branches will actually get executed when running under PHP 7. For this reason, automated analysis tools of this sort are not useful, unless you also then follow it up by reading the code by hand. UpdraftPlus has been PHP7-compatible since September 2015, and is being used on many thousands of PHP 7 installs.
