Hi,

On my server running with php8 and WP 5.9, I get the following error message:
Deprecated: Required parameter $lineno follows optional parameter $only in …wp-content\plugins\timber-library\vendor\twig\twig\src\Node\IncludeNode.php on line 25

Can you please let me know if you plan an update of Twig in your plugin to fix this issue?
Or do you have any advice to fix this problem on my side, or at least hide this message, which is displayed in front…?

Also, looking to have this resolved soon. I’m tempted to patch this ourselves since we install via Composer.

As mentioned in the GitHub issue this version, 1.x, is effectively dead with no planned support for PHP 8+. The focus is on the new 2.x version however I have my doubts that it’s going to be ready before the PHP 7.4 EOL. I will most likely begin proceeding to provide my own PHP patches via Composer in order to maintain the hundreds of sites we have running on Timber 1.x that we must upgrade to PHP 8.0.

This issue was resolved with version 1.22.0 of Timber. We updated the Twig version shipped with Timber and tested everything for PHP 8.0 and 8.1 support.

No need to create patches on your own ;).
